You have to install it, but after copying the files to your usb-stick, you can use it on other PC's as well.
Another way is to extract the installer with uniextract and use those extracted files.
In use, Object Dock is incredibly smooth and stable. There are options to optimize for performance or for memory usage. This, all with the unique style and top-rate performance that Object Dock is known to deliver! To me, this app looks portable like Rocket Dock for example.Overall, Object Dock is a great taskbar replacement that's incredibly stable and useful. Object Dock™ is a program that enables users to organize their shortcuts, programs and running tasks into an attractive and fun animated Dock.
By allowing users to have more control over how they organize their desktop, users can take control of their desktop icons and shortcuts to have them be available when where and how they need them. The settings files are "exported" from the portable version directory to the system, and "imported" to the portable version folder when the app is closed MANUALLY by user.So this program doesn't let any tracks on your system.Add as many shortcuts to the dock as you want for easy application launching. There's also several widgets you can add to the dock. But I couldn't find a way to change the settings folder from local to portable app folder. Anyway, hope this helped[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.docklet] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.dockpack] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.docktheme] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.dockzip] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Object Dock Docklet] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Object Dock Dock Zip Image Package] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Object Dock Theme] [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Object Dock] A little bit too much to be portable this way.
